Plenty of fundraising events tap local and celebrity chefs for their causes, and this month, the students at the International High School of New Orleans
are the lucky benefactors. On April 21, iStudio & A Taste of NOLA teams art students from the Warehouse District school with five notable local chefs at Tulane’s Newcomb Art Museum for a night of art and food.
The event will showcase the students' artistic works as well as dishes from chefs Will Avelar of Meril, David Slater of Emeril’s Restaurant Group, Adolfo Garcia, Joaquin Rodas of Bacchanal and Edgar Caro of Brasa Churrasaqueria.
Proceeds from the event go toward furthering students’ work at International High School of New Orleans. Tickets are $75 per person or $125 per couple and include entry to the museum, food, drinks and a silent auction.
