Broadway in New Orleans announces 2018-2019 shows

Touring productions of Hamilton, School of Rock, The Book of Mormon and Les Miserables come to the Saenger Theatre in 2018 and 2019. Broadway in New Orleans announced shows for its season running September 2018 through June 2019.

Disney's Aladdin
Sept. 26-Oct. 7
The producer of The Lion King adapted Disney's 1992 animated film for the Broadway stage.

School of Rock
Oct. 30-Nov. 4
The adaptation of the Jack Black film about training private school students to play in a rock band features songs by Andrew Lloyd Webber and songs from the film.

ON YOUR FEET!
Nov. 27-Dec. 2
The musical tells the story of Emilio and Gloria Estefan migrating from Cuba to the U.S. and finding musical success.

ELF the Musical
Dec. 18-23
A child mistakenly taken to the North Pole realizes he is not an elf and searches for his real family.

Les Miserables
Jan. 8-13, 2019
Broadway's revival of the classic musical about peasants struggling to survive in post-Revolutionary France.

The Book of Mormon
Feb. 5-10, 2019
The story of Mormon missionaries in Africa from the creators of South Park returns to New Orleans.

Hamilton
March 12-31, 2019
Lin-Manuel Miranda's musical includes hip-hop, rap, jazz and blues in retelling the story of the nation's first treasurer, Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies.

May 28-June 2, 2019
Thousands of stranded passengers are welcomed by a small town in Newfoundland.
