With the 2017 release of third album Crack-Up reintroducing Fleet Foxes with its first album since 2011's Helplessness Blues, the band has announced a string of live dates through the southern U.S., including a March 2018 show in New Orleans.
The band performs March 12 at the Orpheum Theater.
June's Crack-Up (Nonesuch Records) departs from the band's folk-inspired Pacific Northwestern idylism into the unexplored, charting a course with vast, sweeping compositions and orchestral flourishes while keeping its sound grounded in the acoustic textures and ethereal harmonies it first introduced on its 2008 self-titled debut.
The band's 2018 tour through the South includes four stops in Florida and shows in South Carolina, Mississippi, Tennessee and Alabama.
Tickets are $34.50-$64.50 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8. A fan presale begins 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7.
