Dru Hill, SWV and New Orleans artists DJ Jubilee, Shamarr Allen, Robin Barnes and many others perform at the 2017 Westbank Heritage Festival. The third annual event returns to the Alario Center (2000 Segnette Blvd, Westwego) Oct. 21-22. Admission is free; parking is $5.

There's R&B, funk, hip-hop, jazz and other artists, plus food from two dozen local vendors and a Sunday morning (10 a.m.) worship service from Mount Hermon Baptist Church.
