One of the best wine experiences involves sharing delightful, eminently drinkable discoveries such as this affordable and immensely appealing Oregon Pinot Noir. Sourced primarily from Willamette Valley vineyards, the grapes are derived from Pommard, Dijon and Wadenswil clones. After fermentation, the wine ages six months in 18 percent new French oak before blending and bottling. Both elegant and powerful, this vibrant, unfiltered wine exhibits intense aromas, flavors and depth that continue through an astonishingly long finish. Fragrances of sweet, dark berries with dusty pepper, spice and toasty oak accents lead into rich, ripe forward fruit flavors of cherries and cranberries with herbal and earth notes. It's well balanced with excellent structure and will drink well now and over the next two to four years. It's a delicious wine for sipping or to pair with meat and fish dishes or a cheese course.
