Wine of the Week


California's Central Coast region, the narrow strip running north from Santa Barbara to the San Francisco Bay, presents prime property for vineyards with its cooling influences from the Pacific Ocean. A blend of 100 percent Petite Sirah grapes sourced from Paso Robles and southern Monterey, this excellent wine was aged in French, American and Hungarian oak. Aromas of spicy blackberry, blueberry and earth yield to a dense core of jammy, lush-textured wild berry flavors with fine, firm tannins. A good accompaniment to outdoor barbecues, grilled meats and roasts.
