Developed by a team of top-notch Aussie winery professionals who share a passion for great wine, Heartland Stickleback Red is produced from the ownersÕ mature vineyards at Limestone Coast just north of Padthaway and Langhorne Creek. A blend of 75 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, 20 percent Shiraz and 5 percent Grenache, the wine exhibits attractive dark fruit aromas with touches of eucalyptus and spice. On the palate, this soft, supple, well-rounded wine shows lively black currant and blackberry flavors with a touch of pepper. A good match with roast pork tenderloin, grilled fish, shrimp kebabs and chicken with fruit chutney.
