There are more than 1,200 taxis available on New Orleans' streets and at major hotels. Taxi rates are $3.50 plus $.30 per one-eighth mile thereafter. There is also an additional charge of $1.00 per passenger after the first passenger.

During peak visitor times, taxi rates are $7.00 per person or the meter rate, whichever is greater. A fixed rate of $36.00 (one to two people) is charged from the airport to most areas of New Orleans. For parties of more than two, the fare is $15.00 per person.


Both Uber and Lyft ride sharing services are offered in New Orleans. Cars range from low-cost rides to larger suvs, and even luxury cars with specialty service.


There are public buses that run to or near the venues hosting all WWE events. The #16 S. Claiborne bus line has a stop at Champions Square, as well as at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

You can also ride in New Orleans style on the Rampart-St. Claude Streetcar, which has a Poydras Avenue stop that's an easy walk from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and the Smoothie King Center. This streetcar line connects on Canal St. to the Canal-Cemeteries and Canal-City Park Streetcar lines, both of which will take you down to the Riverfront Streetcar, which runs straight to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

Regional Transit Authority services are $1.25, including bus transportation and the streetcar. Thirty-three bus and streetcar lines are running daily. Bus service allows transportation throughout the city's major corridor, extending from the Faubourg Marigny to Riverbend. PediCabs and Bicylces

Pedicabs and bicycles are another way to travel within downtown New Orleans. You can find pedicabs around the French Quarter and in front of hotels.

Bicycle rentals are available by the day or longer at many local businesses including A Bicycle Named Desire at 632 Elysian Fields Ave., Bicycle Michael's at 622 Frenchmen St., Flambeaux Bicycles at 626 N. Rampart St. or The American Bicycle Rental Company at 318 N. Rampart St.
