Jessica Herrin, founder and CEO of Stella & Dot, a company that sells its boutique jewelry through home parties, will be at the Sheraton New Orleans (500 Canal St., 525-2500; for a preview of the company's spring line from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, May 21, along with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and information about starting a home-based jewelry business. The event is free.
