To celebrate its 125th anniversary, Miss Celie's Spa Orleans (914 N. Rampart St., 522-2446; is offering its Signature Facial or Exceptional Massage to all Louisiana residents for $25 each Aug. 15-31. Just bring in a valid Louisiana ID. To commemorate the anniversary, spa owner Keith West-Harrison also has created a Tibetan Temple treatment room with a 200-year-old temple wall, a 300-year-old singing bowl, Buddhist monk prayer bells and other features where Tibetan Treatments are performed.

MOXY Studios (3811 Magazine St., 309-2516;, a contemporary art gallery and working studio, opened in late July to display the art of resident artists Joan Cox, who creates large expressionistic paintings, and Timothy Weekly, who favors abstract monoprints. The new gallery, founded by Cox and Mare McCall, two Baltimore natives, also will feature the work of emerging artists. The gallery will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday as well as for private events.

Torrid plus size boutique has opened in Oakwood Shopping Center (197 Westbank Expwy., Gretna, 361-3280; and is offering women's clothing, handbags, lingerie, swimwear, shoes, jewelry and gifts from manufacturers such as Paris Blues, Baby Phat, Hot Kiss, LEI, Z. Cavaricci, Dickies, Tripp and Spanx.

Zea Rotisserie & Grill just opened an eighth restaurant at 1525 St. Charles Ave. (520-8100; The new eatery opened a week ago and will serve dinner only for the first few weeks. It offers a casual dining atmosphere with food that includes rotisserie-cooked meats, seafood, salads, sandwiches, pasta, micro-brewed beers and more. The family of restaurants was founded by Taste Buds Inc., a group of three Louisiana-based chefs.
