  • Politicians will do anything to build their email (read: donor) bases, but we wonder how much luck U.S. Rep. Steve Scalise had last week with a "LEGALIZE MARIJUANA SURVEY" on his official government website. The survey had only one question — whether the respondent wanted weed legalized at the federal level. Even the most ardent pothead, however, probably thought twice about voting "yes" and then submitting an email address to a dot-gov website.
