New Orleans restaurant news featuring 3 Potato 4, Margaritavilla, Kin and Primitivo

   3 Potato 4, the Broadmoor baked potato and fry shop, moved to a new location in the French Market (1235 N. Peters St., Space 15, 504-298-7761; www.3p4shop.com). The shop specializes in baked organic spuds, which are served with a choice of vegan and gluten-free toppings and 18 dipping sauces. The cart will also sell three-bean chili and soy-free, gluten-free cheese fries. 3 Potato 4 is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday through Tuesday.

   Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville (1104 Decatur St., 504-592-2565; www.margaritavilleneworleans.com) will close June 30 and reopen at a new location on upper Decatur Street, says Director of Domestic Operations Bret Brown. The old space will be occupied by a B.B. King's Blues Club, Brown said.

  • Kin (4600 Washington Ave., 504-304-8557; www.facebook.com/kinfordindin), the contemporary American restaurant in Gert Town, now serves lunch. The menu features four types of Japanese ramen and several appetizers. Kin serves lunch Tuesday through Friday and dinner Tuesday through Saturday.

   Chef Adolfo Garcia opened Primitivo (1800 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd., 504-881-1775; www.primitivonola.com) May 26 and added lunch service last week. Primitivo serves lunch Tuesday through Friday and dinner Tuesday through Saturday.
