Press Street Station to close Feb. 11

NOCCA Institute restaurant space to be repurposed

Press Street Station (5 Press St. 504-249-5622; www.pressstreetstation.com), the casual cafe and restaurant inside the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA), will close Feb. 11.

  The restaurant is run by the NOCCA Institute and attached to the school. The space will be used for student performances, exhibitions, pop-up dinners, art classes, lectures, catering and other public events. The restaurant opened in 2015, and has been helmed by Michael Doyle since summer of 2016, following the the closing of his Bywater restaurant, Maurepas Foods.
