Anthony Bean Theater, 1333 S. Carrollton Ave., 862-7529; www.anthonybeantheater.com
In Thornton Wilder's Our Town, the children of neighboring families in an idyllic New Hampshire town meet as youngsters and eventually fall in love and marry, and the audience watches the arc of their lives together. Director Anthony Bean updates the work from its original time period, beginning in the early 1900s, and sets it in the middle of the century in a racially diverse community. Tickets $20 general admission, $18 students/seniors.
