Old Media the Roosevelt mall will feature 20 community information booths about all sorts of activism. The cluster is organized by Gulf Restoration Network, one of Voodoo's unofficial charitable beneficiaries.
Preservation Hall " Too big for a tent or hall, Preservation Hall programming occupies its own village. The area brings together New Orleans music, art, culture and even Jelly's Lounge, official lair of the Voodoo Social Aid & Pleasure Club.
Fuse TV " The Fuse TV dome will host artist meet and greets, broadcast video on 25 plasma screens and produce music videos that will play on stage video screens before performances begin.
Not Your Neighborhood Second Line " Every day will open with and feature parades by groups like the Extra Action Marching Band and the Noisician Coalition.
You Rock " Playstation will have both a truck and Playstation Central, where visitors can play Rock Band and SingStar. During Voodoo, the new game Little Big Planet will be unveiled. And Playstation's No. 1 Rock Band contest winner will be flown in to perform at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
Comfort Station " Southern Comfort hosts the SoCo Lime Dome where there will be a DJ vibe.
Axe to Grind " Axe Body Spray will deploy its Axe Angels to reward lucky festgoers with beer-line Fast Passes and invitations to the chocolate sampling paradise in its VIP Sweet Suite.
Rebirth? " One of the best surprises last year was the African Cultural Tent, which on closing night featured a long set by the Rebirth Brass Band that rolled well more than an hour after the last stage went dark. At press time, the tent's inclusion in Voodoo was not confirmed.
