Suddenly, Last Summer
Wed.-Sun. March 4-29 | In Tennessee Williams' one-act play set in New Orlean's Garden District, the ruthless and imposing Violet Venable goes to extremes to prevent her niece Catherine from revealing the truth about her son's death. Southern Rep presents the drama at 8 p.m. (3 p.m. Sunday) at Ashe Power House (previews March 4-6).

Taylor 2
Thu.-Sat. March 5-7 | Legendary choreographer Paul Taylor's smaller company, Taylor 2, returns to the Marigny Opera House for a weeklong residency and two programs of classic Taylor works, including Images, Dust and Company B. on Thursday and Saturday and Airs, Runes and Esplanade on Friday. At 8 p.m. at Marigny Opera House.

Measure for Measure
Fri.-Sun. March 6-22 | Anthony Bean Community Theater presents its first Shakespeare production, Measure for Measure, a comic/tragic story of a judge's abuse of power and deceit and virtue in the brothels of Vienna. At 8 p.m. (3 p.m. on Sundays) at Anthony Bean Community Theater.

Bo Burnham
Sun. March 8 | In 2009, Bo Burnham became the youngest star of a Comedy Central Presents half-hour solo show, and the baby-faced comedian looked much younger than his 19 years. At 24, his comedy is darker and edgier (and he's a published poet now), but he still looks like a teen. At 8 p.m. at Civic Theatre.
