Le Foret opens for lunch



  The fine dining CBD restaurant Le Foret (129 Camp St., 504-553-6738; will serve lunch on Thursdays and Fridays starting Sept. 4. The lunch menu features dishes including fried truffle macaroni and cheese, crabmeat cheesecake with Abita barbecue sauce, pulled pork belly sliders, Parmesan-crusted oyster salad, rabbit cassoulet and more. There will be a prix fixe two-course meal offered for $27. During September, the prix fixe lunch special is half off and includes dessert.
