Alla Duhova is as fearless in her choreography as she is tantalizing, which makes Krasnaya one of the more intriguing road-trip diversions this summer. From the woman who last year provided Beau Rivage with Red Dream, this presentation of 42 Russian dancers and acrobats is a testament to how the lines have blurred between modern dance and circus theatrics. The structure itself is rather ordinary: an aggressively and erotically choreographed ensemble dance number that seems equal parts Bob Fosse and whoever happens to be Britney Spears' latest coaching muse, alternating with some truly breath-taking acts. One of the more gravity-defying maneuvers comes courtesy Anastasia Vasilenko's "Sphere" routine (pictured), in which she plays within a suspended, clear plastic ball's divisions -- creating them, uniting them, working within them. My personal favorite is Margarita Khasanova's underwater "Aquarium" routine performed inside a prodigious half-shell of a bowl, in which coming up for air looks like a minor miracle. Tickets $22.95-$29.95.
