ZOOvie Night at Audubon Zoo

Watch Big Hero 6 under the stars at Audubon Zoo. The animated sci-fi film stars a 14-year-old boy and a robot named Baymax. Admission $5, or $10 including admission to Cool Zoo. Doors at 6 p.m., activities at 7:15 p.m. and movie at 8:15 p.m. Friday.

Children ages 6 to 9 learn about plants, gardening and ecosystems through hands-on activities. The class costs $15. Call or email nobgeducation@nocp.org to register. 10 a.m. Saturday.

New Orleans National Dance Day Celebration Flash Mob

Everyone is welcome at a flash dance party and second line to celebrate National Dance Day. Flash mob instructions are provided at 10:30 a.m. and the second line begins at noon. Several local dance studios hold free demo classes from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
