Gov. Bobby Jindal's luck in the GOP presidential wannabe sweepstakes remains at low ebb. A recent nationwide poll of GOP voters conducted for Fox News has the governor stuck in 13th (and last) place at 1 percent, according to Clarus Research Group.
Jindal has tried just about everything to boost his standing in the crowded GOP field: from outrageous foreign-policy statements to sucking up to Duck Dynasty stars to groveling before Christian right-wingers in Iowa — all to no avail. He says he'll announce a decision on whether to seek the White House after the current legislative session.
