One man's quest to eat as much as possible at the Olive Garden

"I was encouraged to see that our country still has jolly, fun people who love a good story, that root for the underdog and cheer when the little man wins. Of the comments I read and received, 99 percent were positive!"

— North Carolina minister Alan Martin quoted in a story about his quest to eat as much as possible at Olive Garden after purchasing one of its "Never-Ending Pasta Passes." He says he ate 115 meals, worth a total value of $1,840, at the restaurant during the promotion's seven-week duration. He also says he lost four pounds.
