Spain Sampler
Rio Mar (800 S. Peters St., 525-3474) is going all-out Spain with a traditional tapas menu served weekdays from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Chorizo, jamon serrano, shrimp al ajillo and pressed sandwiches are a few of the 25 tapas offered; all are priced between $4 and $8 and designed to encourage group snacking. In the spirit of Spaniards&185; predilection to drink well but not guzzle when they eat, chef-owner Adolfo Garcia also plans to roll out a wine cart with Spanish wines and sherries to be poured in half-portions for roughly $3 each.
