Arnaud's Bastille Day Fete wine dinner

The wine dinner marking France's day of national celebration features cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, three courses paired with French wines and dessert. Dishes include braised asparagus with ricotta, pancetta and Parmesan; North Atlantic salmon with lentils and haricots verts; and lamb marinated with herbes de Provence. The dinner costs $100, including tax and tip.

Kids Club: Gardening Basics

Whole Foods Market and Sprout NOLA teach kids the basics of planting and growing garden vegetables. Admission is free, but space is limited. Email to reserve a spot.

Bittersweet Bash

The sweet shop and Bibiddy Bobiddy Bash present a mother-daughter "princess" event featuring chocolate dipping with pretzels, cookies, marshmallows and strawberries. Water, lemonade and adult treats are included, and there is a sing-along and storytelling. A $70 ticket includes one parent and one child (fathers and boys are welcome).
