Guests can sample 15 chardonnays and pinot noirs from California and Willamette Valley, Oregon. The menu includes Alpine cheese with spiced nuts, grapes and sweet onion marmalade; honey-mustard ham and apple profiteroles; steak tips with berbere and yogurt; and mushroom-tarragon crostini. Tickets are $35.
Mexican and Central American Independence Day

The celebration of independence from Spain features music by Fredy Omar con su Banda. A special menu features the traditional Mexican Independence day dish, chiles en nogada, picadillo-stuffed poblano peppers topped with cream sauce and pomegranate seeds. Bar specials include Central American beers and micheladas, similar to bloody marys but made with beer in place of vodka. Free admission.

The fundraiser for Friends of City Park features a menu of 25 specialty martinis and food from area restaurants, including Acme Oyster House, Dickie Brennan's Steakhouse, La Thai Uptown, Rosedale, Silk Road and others.
