The Alliance Francaise hosts cooking classes July 7-10 in advance of Bastille Day (July 14). Participants will learn about four French regional cuisines including Pays Basque, Bretagne, Bourgogne and Provence.
Instructor Brigitte Gomane will teach students to prepare moules a la creme fraiche, poulet basquaise, tarte provencal and other dishes. Classes are $70 each and $60 for Alliance Francaise members. A $20 discount is available to participants taking all four classes. Classes also offer the opportunity to polish your conversational French and enjoy a glass of wine.
