Been a good year for Louisiana artists on national late-night television. GIVERS and Preservation Hall Jazz Band recently tore up late-night stages. And last night, Trombone Shorty appeared on Conan O'Brien's Conan to perform "Do To Me."
Next month, Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews and his crew in Orleans Avenue release the follow-up to 2010's stellar Backatown with For True (Verve). In case you missed it, stream the For True single "Encore" here.
Following the performance, O'Brien yells "Good God!" and bows to the perpetually sunglassed Shorty, followed with, "That's the real thing." Check it out below.
