So we've been watching the nearby storefront that used to house "Junque Antiques," as there's been a flurry of activity there and a mysterious sign in the window reading "CHINESE RESTAURANT COMING SOON." It's on that strip of S. Carrollton that's become a mini-international restaurant row, with four (!) Latin restaurants within two blocks, as well as Venezia and Wit's Inn for pizza, Little Tokyo for sushi, Doson Noodle House for phó and Brocato's for ices. A Chinese restaurant would be a nice complement to the neighborhood (and another option for Gambit lunches).
And tonight the sign went up. Mid-City, welcome Yummy Yummy:
