Light-bodied Alandra Tinto from the Esporao estate is a perfect red quaffing wine for summer. It was made from a blend of grapes sourced from several vineyards located about 110 miles south of Lisbon. Charmingly rustic, this well-made wine achieves harmony with richly textured fruit, balanced acidity and polished tannins. In the glass, the wine exudes aromas of ripe black and red fruit with a touch of earthiness. Flavors of blackberry, cherry, cassis and currants persist over a medium-length finish.
