This light-bodied, crisp white wine from the sub-appellation of Picpoul de Pinet within the Coteaux de Languedoc is produced by the Cave de Pomerols cooperative near Sete in southern France. Made from 100 percent picpoul grapes (also known as folle blanche), the wine had limited skin contact and was fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. In the glass, it offers aromas of grapefruit, lime peel, lemon zest and spice notes. On the palate, taste citrus, melon, green apple and mineral accents with balanced acidity on the lively finish.
