This crisp, dry wine was produced from carefully selected vineyard parcels in the Western Cape region, an area of diverse mesoclimates, varying soil compositions and mountainous ranges. The confluence of the surrounding oceans creates currents that cool the vineyards across the Cape. For this vintage, an extended, dry growing season delayed the harvest, resulting in fully ripened fruit. The juice was cold fermented in stainless steel tanks with 20 percent resting on its lees for three months prior to blending and bottling. The wine offers aromas of honeydew melon, lime zest, green apple and spice notes. On the palate, taste grapefruit, lemon, passion fruit, mango and other tropical flavors persist with herbal undertones and a zesty acidity.
