2007 Row Eleven Vinas 3 Pinot Noir

California / $20 Retail

Derived from highly regarded Dijon, Pommard and Martini Pinot Noir clones, grapes for this excellent, good-value wine were sourced from top California vineyards in Santa Barbara, Sonoma and Monterrey. Light-to-medium bodied, the wine shows good balance, crisp acidity and luscious forward fruit with some complexity. In the glass, scents of dark cherry with spice and oak notes are followed by red berry flavors with cola and coffee nuances. Drink it with a variety of dishes including pork, fowl, tuna, salmon, pasta dishes and roasted vegetables. Buy it at: Prytania Liquor Store and Corkscrewed. Drink it at: Le Meritage, Stella! and Keith Young's Steakhouse.
