2007 Primaterra Pinot Grigio

Delle Venezie, Italy/ $10 Retail

Wine lovers searching for a cooling, light wine should check out this crisp, easy-drinking Pinot Grigio from northern Italy. In the glass, aromas of fresh flowers and citrus lead to juicy green apple, grapefruit and melon flavors with a subtle, pleasing minerality blending into a nicely tart, acid-balanced finish. Serve well chilled. Great as an aperitif and enjoyable with seafood, salads, light pasta dishes, soft cheeses and brothy soups. Buy it at: Dorignac's and Cost Plus World Markets in Elmwood, Harvey and Covington. Drink it at: Little Tokyo, Rick's Cabaret and Bosco's Italian Cafe in Mandeville.
