The Broad Theater will participate in a global, one-night-only screening of new Nick Cave documentary One More Time With Feeling on Thursday, Sept. 8 at 9 p.m. Directed by New Zealand filmmaker Andrew Dominik (Killing Them Softly), the film will be followed by the release of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds' new album, Skeleton Tree, on Sept. 9.
The film reportedly began as a form of therapy for Cave, who lost his 15-year-old son in a tragic accident last year. Dominik and Cave worked together previously when Cave and bandmate Warren Ellis composed the haunting score for the director's 2007 film The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. Tickets for the screening are $15 and currently on sale here.
