Village People will perform at the Louisiana Seafood Festival.
The Louisiana Seafood Festival announced details including the music lineup for its Sept. 2-4 event at New Orleans City Park's Festival Grounds. Headliners include Village People, Blood, Sweat and Tears featuring Bo Bice of American Idol
fame, The Romantics, Zebra, Bonerama with George Porter Jr. and others.
More than 20 restaurants and food trucks will sell food at the festival, including Acme Oyster House, Blue Crab Restaurant, Cafe Giovanni, Dat Dog, Drago's Seafood Restaurant, Galatoire's Restaurant, Luke, Miss Linda The Ya-Ka-Mein Lady, Red Fish Grill, Voleo's, Woody's Fish Tacos and others.
Musical performers also include Big Sam's Funky Nation, Hot 8 Brass Band, Tank and the Bangas, Benjy Davis, The Producers, Dave Jordan and NIA, Flow Tribe, Darcy Malone and the Tangle and others.
The festival is from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2 and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 3-4.
are $8 per day and weekend passes are $22. Children under 55 inches get in free when accompanied by a paying adult. On Sept. 2, individual tickets will be $10 and weekend tickets will be $25.
The festival drew 56,000 attendees last year, Louisiana Hospitality Foundation Vice President Glen Armantrout said in a released statement.
