Vouchers are sold out for a July 22 Richard Cheese show at House of Blues.
If you were able to get past the "overwhelming load to our systems" screen and were pumped about getting to see a famous-for-some-reason YouTuber or a Bon Jovi tribute act, you're probably out of luck. The first wave of voucher-eligible concerts in New Orleans
under the massive Ticketmaster/Live Nation settlement
are all sold out.
The concerts — all at House of Blues in the French Quarter — are mostly tribute shows (to B.J., Led Zeppelin, Curtis Mayfield, Ozzy Osborne and Nirvana), and then there's masturbatory guitarist Zack Wylde, YouTuber Todrick Hall, and Richard Cheese & Lounge Against the Machine. There's also "Surf's Up in the City: Summer Beach Party," with a pool and "imported sand."
You can check your list of vouchers in your account
(under "active vouchers" on your account page). You'll also find codes for $2.25 off the price of any Ticketmaster or Live Nation purchase (and you can use up to two at a time, for a total of $4.50). Users get a discount voucher for every purchase made from Oct. 21, 1999 through Feb. 27, 2013, up to a maximum of 17. There is a chance Ticketmaster and Live Nation will add more shows or tickets — you can sign up for an email
if more tickets are available.
