Voodoo organizers canceled its third and final day in 2015
after nonstop rain overwhelmed City Park's Festival Grounds, which had turned into a mud pit. This year brings a few familiar artists back to the city — including headliners and part-time residents Arcade Fire, and Tool, which performed earlier this year at the Smoothie King Center (singer Maynard James Keenan also is performing at Voodoo with his Puscifer). Anderson .Paak performed at the Buku Music + Art Project in March following his excellent second LP Malibu,
and Wild Belle performed a sold-out show at Gasa Gasa last month.
Voodoo alums Die Antwoord, soon to release the mixtape Suck on This
, are back this year, and Loyola grad G-Eazy returns to the city with a top-billed festival slot.
