Warehouse District coffee shop HARO Coffee and Chocolate (703 Carondelet St.) has closed.

Owner Ryan Haro opened the tiny cafe in early 2014, serving coffee drinks, pastries and specialty chocolates. According to a statement from the company, the business will restructure to “focus on supply-based initiatives.”

“While we understand the need for a brick-and-mortar storefront, our beloved coffee business will service a wider broach of consumers by partnering with some of New Orleans’ most beloved entities,” Haro said in the statement.

There is no word on where HARO’s supplies might pop up in the future, but the shop's iced coffee will be served at Bienvenue Bar & Grill, which Haro recently took over. The new restaurant, formerly FredRick’s Deli (312 St. Charles Ave.), maintains most of the downtown breakfast and lunch spot’s menu, including muffulettas, po-boys and burgers.
