The brunch franchise Brick & Spoon offers build-your-own bloody mary service.
A new breakfast and lunch spot opens on Magazine Street next month. Brick & Spoon
, a Lafayette-based brunch franchise, expects to open in early February at 2802 Magazine St.
The regional chain known best for it’s build-your-own bloody mary bar and wide selection of eggs Benedict dishes is moving into the vacant space next to Coquette and will be open daily.
The chain offers a Southern-accented menu including stuffed French toast sliders, Bananas in Pajamas (fried banana egg rolls) and Deviled on the Bayou (tasso deviled eggs topped with fried oysters and Sriracha aioli). The bloody mary bar features more than 50 choices of mixers, vegetables, cheeses, meats and herbs.
The chain’s CEO, Blane Guillory, said in a prepared statement that the restaurant’s concept is “built upon the success stories of New Orleans-style casual breakfast/brunch dining and coffeehouse venues.”
“It only made sense for us to grow our business in this location,” Guillory said.
Brick & Spoon opened in Lafayette in 2013 and currently has two locations in Louisiana and Alabama.
