The New Orleans premiere of journalist and adventurer Jon Bowermaster's documentary After the Spill will take place Friday night, Jan. 22, at 7 p.m. at the Joy Theater, 1200 Canal Street. The film is described as "an in-depth look at the BP oil spill, the effect of the spill and Big Oil’s exploration and production operations on the Louisiana coast." Narrated by Melissa Leo, After the Spill includes appearances by James Carville, NIck Spitzer and Gen, Russell Honore, and features a score by Sonny Landreth, who will open the program at the Joy Theater with a live performance.
