(611 O'Keefe Ave, 504-509-7334) hosts its first beer dinner 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3. Saint Arnold Brewing Company’s executive chef Ryan Savoie is visiting from Houston to collaborate with chefs Kelly Fields and Lisa White on a five-course meal paired with Saint Arnold’s beers.
The dinner costs $85 (including of tax and tip) and features cornmeal-fried P&J oysters with caviar and buttermilk ranch paired with Fancy Lawnmower Kolsch; wild boar pot pie with root vegetables and cheese and onion biscuits paired with ICON Red American Roggenbier; and a dark chocolate dessert with salted caramel made with Pumpkinator and served with Divine Reserve Imperial Stout.

Chef Savoie visits Fat Harry's (4330 St Charles Ave., 504-895-9582) on Friday, Dec. 4. He has recommendations for pairing beers with dishes at the eatery, such as fried oyster and candied bacon sliders with Fancy Lawnmower.
Brewing Company (6809 N Peters St., Arabi, 504-444-3972) holds its Christmas Bash Dec. 12. It features beer and kid-friendly activities such as face painting, balloon animals, a magician and visits with Santa. There's music by the Pine Leaf Boys. Tickets
