With nearly 200 films screened over nine days, the 2015 New Orleans Film Festive offers a dizzying array of choices. But those aspiring to work in the film industry (or already doing so) should take special note of the Festival's generous slate of free panels and workshops centered on the coming weekend. Panel subjects include "Getting your Film Seen: The New Distribution Frontier" and "Coming to a (Computer) Screen Near You: A Conversation About the Future of Web-Based Content." This year's workshops focus on successful crowdfunding techniques and learning to hand-etch and digitally manipulate 16mm film.

A full listing of panels can be found here, and workshops are here.
