The satirical website The Onion has had a lot of fun with Gov. Bobby Jindal's presidential campaign — its Jindal candidate profile includes "facts" like "Career Accomplishments: Has for years dutifully served the people of a state he desperately wants to abandon" and "What Sets Him Apart: Brings diversity to bottom third of GOP candidate polls."

Today's Jindal potshot: "Bobby Jindal Lies To Parents About Winning GOP Nomination."
“Now, I don’t officially become president until I win the general election, but I’m just one step away,” said the Louisiana governor on a phone call with his mother and father, cautioning them that while he wasn’t able to live in the White House just yet, he almost certainly would be soon, and they could visit him anytime they wanted.
Earlier this year, The Onion offered up this Jindal scoop: "Bobby Jindal Not Sure He Willing To Put Family Through 2-Month Presidential Campaign."
