The second location of Company Burger opens this week in the Central Business District.
Burger aficionados rejoice: Adam Biderman’s Company Burger (
611 O'Keefe Ave., 504-309-9422) opens this week in the Paramount.
Following a soft opening over the weekend, Biderman’s highly anticipated second, much larger shop officially opens this week.
As with the restaurant’s flagship location on Freret Street
, which opened in 2011, thin beef patties are made with antibiotic- and hormone-free meat ground in-house. All condiments, pickles, buns and specialty sides are made onsite. Double patty burgers topped with American cheese can include several add-ons including bacon or a fried egg. For sides, there are hand-cut fries, sweet potato waffle fries, onion rings and pickled jalapeno slaw, among others.
The modern, airy space features high ceilings, a partially open kitchen, high tables and a long bar with more than 20 beers on tap and a cocktail program.
The new spot joins recent a host of newcomers to the building, including Willa Jean
, Ursa Major
and Blaze Pizza. Magasin Kitchen is slated to open later this fall as is Part & Parcel, a new delicatessen
from the Root team.
Company Burger will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
