Comedian Patton Oswaltcelluloid hero, culinary rodent, enjoyer of zombies, spaceships, wastelands and werewolves and lollipops — postponed several stand-up shows, including a Sept. 13 show at the Mahalia Jackson Theater for the Performing Arts. The rescheduled dates have not yet been set, but tickets will be good for the rescheduled show.

Oswalt apologized for the announcement via Facebook, saying he's working on a film that went over schedule.
Ugh. I wish this wasn't the first thing I was posting after my online break, but here goes:

My shows this week — Thursday in St. Louis, Friday in Denver, Saturday in Dallas and Sunday in New Orleans — have been postponed. There's a film project I'm committed to and the schedule has gotten very crazy. The director and producers have been nothing but cool trying to work it out, but today it became apparent that it would be impossible, time-wise, physics-wise and I'm-an-old-man-who-needs-his-grandma-sleep-wise. I'm working now to re-schedule these shows. They will be re-scheduled. I will visit your cities. But I'm also making a movie, and the movie will be in every city, so it's kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinda like I'm coming to your city? In celluloid form?

Holy fuck I'm reaching.

I'm tired. I had pizza for lunch and tacos for dinner. I need to change my life.

Ugh. Sorry.

Still friends?
Meanwhile, Oswalt is back on Twitter after a lil' Internet vacation.
