Southern Review presents free screening of post-Katrina film Low and Behold Friday night

Literary Journal Southern Review will host a free public screening of director Zack Godshall's film Low and Behold Friday night, August 21 at 8:00 p.m. at the Contemporary Arts Center, 900 Camp Street. The first feature film shot in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina and the levee failures, Low and Behold mixes documentary and fictional elements to tell the story of an insurance claims adjustor dealing with the flood-ravaged city. The screening is part of a launch party for Southern Review's latest issue, which includes a feature commemorating the storm's 10th anniversary. Issue contributors and local writers John Biguenet and Alison Pelegrin will be on hand for the event.
