Shotgun Cinema has announced a new documentary film festival called True Orleans scheduled for the UNO's Robert E. Nims Theatre August 14-16. The festival will include five feature films, eight short films, four panel discussions, non-fiction radio pieces presented before each screening and a "bring your own" live storytelling event. Highlights include the regional debuts of the award-winning (T)error, which takes viewers inside an FBI counterterrorism operation, and The Look of SIlence, a companion to the Oscar-nominated The Act of Killing.
