The Indywood Theater continues its summer screening series tonight at 614 Gravier Street with A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence, a Swedish film by director Roy Andersson that won the Golden Lion for Best Film at the Venice International Film Festival in 2014. The film consists of a series of vignettes and functions as a meditation on what it means to be human.
Though billed as Indywood's third Bike-In screening, the film will be shown indoors, though ample bike parking — along with much-needed air conditioning — will be provided. Tickets are $5 for floor seating and $7 for chair seating. More info here.
