It was Christmas in July yesterday for Star Wars fans at the San Diego Comic-Con convention. A panel on J.J. Abrams' upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens included the debut of a four-minute behind-the-scenes reel that delivers the first close look at the film's visual style and overall approach. It has been watched over 2-1/2 million times on YouTube in less than 24 hours. The film really does look awesome — see the reel below. Those who need more can watch the entire hour-long panel, featuring Abrams and stars including Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver and Daisy Ridley, along with an on-stage reunion of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill from the original Star Wars. That video is also embedded below. The film is scheduled to open everywhere on December 18, 2015.
