New Orleans 48 Hour Film Project returns; early registration ends Sunday

The 48 Hour Film Project is an annual global competition in which teams get two days to make seven-minute films incorporating randomly selected elements. The winners of regional competitions will go up against films from around the world at Filmapalooza 2016 for a chance at the grand prize and an opportunity to screen at the Cannes Film Festival.

The happy hour mixer for the 2015 New Orleans 48 Hour Film Project happens this Thursday, June 25 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Bruno's Tavern, 7538 Maple Street. The early deadline for reduced-rate registration is Monday, June 29. The 48-hour filmmaking event is scheduled for July 24 to 26. More information is here.
