New Orleans filmmaker Benh Zeitlin's Oscar-nominated Beasts of the Southern Wild will screen with a live orchestra at the Saenger Theatre on Saturday night, Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. New York City's Wordless Music — an ensemble that seeks to blur the lines between different styles of instrumental music, from classical to indie rock — and the Lost Bayou Ramblers will perform a live soundtrack to the movie, led by award-winning conductor Ryan McAdams. Tickets range from $24 to $64 (plus ticketmaster fees) and are now on sale here.
